Who am I?

Hello, In this post, I'm going to tell you about myself. My name is Yusuf. I'm from Sivas, Turkey, but I have been in Gaziantep for about 10 years now. I live in an apartment with my mother and brother. I am a teacher of English at Private Deva Schools in Gaziantep. I love my job. My lovely hometown in the map of Turkey In my free time, I like to play basketball, read books, watch cartoons and spend time on social media. Nowadays, I cannot play basketball because I am in Sivas due to the February 6 earthquakes. I'm a big fan of the  NBA  basketball. I don't have a favourite team, but there are a lot of basketballers I love to watch.  Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Chris Paul ,  James Harden  and  Zach LaVine  are a few of them. I also like watching cartoons. I usually watch cartoons that I used to watch when I was a child. As for reading, I love classic books. I love to see the world from the eye of a person who lived a long time ago. That's why I don't find new

A book review

Hello everybody, In this post, I'm going to write a book review. This is a very important book for me. First of all, let me tell you the basics about it. It's called "Of Mice and Men", which was translated as " Fareler ve İnsanlar " into Turkish. It is a novel, but it is not very long (novella). It was written by John Steinbeck, a famous American author. It was first published in 1937, and it has got 107 pages originally. This is the cover of the book in first edition. The main characters of the book are George and Lennie. George is short, but he is a strong man. Also, he is Lennie's best friend. On the other hand, Lennie is very tall and very strong, but he is mentally disabled. In other words, he is like a baby. He cannot do anything without George's help. He always asks George before he does something. Lennie and George in the film version of the book. George and Lennie live together. They have a dream; they want to make a lot of money and buy a f

A film review

Hello, In this post, I am going to write a review of a film.   It is called Terminator 2 - The Judgment Day , and it is the second film of the Terminator sequel. It is a science-fiction film, and it was released in 1991. This is one of my favourite films of all time. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the good robot, Robert Patrick, the bad robot and Linda Hamilton starred in the film. Edward Furlong is the child star. It was directed by James Cameron (the director of Titanic and Avatar), and Brad Fiedel made its epic music. You can listen to this epic soundtrack of the film while reading the rest of the post :) Terminator (Arnold Schwazzenegger) is a robot and he comes back from the future. He wants to protect John Connor (Edward Furlong) from T-1000, the bad robot who wants to kill John Connor. Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) is John's mother, and they both try to escape from T-1000, so the Terminator helps them. John Connor meeting Terminator for the first time. I am in love with this film.

My favourite artist

Hello everyone, In this post, I'm going to write about my favourite artist. He is called Banksy. He is from England, and he is a street artist. He has got millions of followers on social media. For example, more than 10 million people follow him on Instagram. There is something really interesting about him: Nobody knows who he really is. In other words, he is an anonymous artist. He just paints a picture on a wall (mural) in a city somewhere around the world, and it gets famous right away, but he usually does it in England. Unfortunately, some of his artwork is erased afterwards because people don't know it was Banksy, who painted it. Sometimes people erase his artwork because they don't like the message in it, or it is wiped out because some say it is vandalism. Here are a couple of examples of his artwork that I like. A Banksy graffiti about global warming Banksy made this in Palestine. Banksy on refugee crisis I like his art because it always has a message. He draws abo

My Lockdown Routine

Hello guys, In this post I'm going to write about my lockdown routine. I live in an apartment with my mother and my brother. Because my brother goes to work (he works in shifts), usually I am alone with my mother nowadays. My weekdays and weekends are no longer like what they used to be, but still there are things I enjoy doing during this lockdown. For me, weekdays means online education nowadays. On weekdays, I usually get up at around 8:30 o'clock. Then I start my lessons at 9 o'clock. I usually have my breakfast in one of the break times. My lessons finish at around 1 in the afternoon. Then, I usually spend time with my mother, doing things like watching tv, chit-chatting, having snacks or doing some housework together. In the evening, we usually have dinner at around 6 p.m. Then we always have a tea time while we watch TV altogether. After spending a couple of hours with my family, I usually spend time in my bedroom. I sometimes read a book, but usually I am on social
