Hello guys,
In this post I'm going to write about my lockdown routine. I live in an apartment with my mother and my brother. Because my brother goes to work (he works in shifts), usually I am alone with my mother nowadays. My weekdays and weekends are no longer like what they used to be, but still there are things I enjoy doing during this lockdown.
For me, weekdays means online education nowadays. |
On weekdays, I usually get up at around 8:30 o'clock. Then I start my lessons at 9 o'clock. I usually have my breakfast in one of the break times. My lessons finish at around 1 in the afternoon. Then, I usually spend time with my mother, doing things like watching tv, chit-chatting, having snacks or doing some housework together. In the evening, we usually have dinner at around 6 p.m. Then we always have a tea time while we watch TV altogether. After spending a couple of hours with my family, I usually spend time in my bedroom. I sometimes read a book, but usually I am on social media, Twitter most of the time. I usually go to bed around midnight.
Weekend breakfasts are my favourite moments of the week :) |
On weekends, I usually get up late, like 10 or 11 a.m. Then I always a have a big breakfast with my family. This is one of my favourite moments of the whole week. I look forward to these moments. As the Turkish poet Cemal Süreya says, "kahvaltının mutlulukla bir ilgisi olmalı", which means breakfast must have something to do with happiness 🙂. I totally agree with him. After the breakfast, which usually takes more than one hour, we sometimes have coffee altogether and keep chit-chatting about our family matters, relatives, etc. In the afternoon, sometimes we do some cleaning around home or everybody just minds their own business. Like most of the Antep people, we also usually have barbecue for dinner at the weekend, which is my second favourite moment of the week🙂. Finally, we finish the day having snacks and watching TV altogether. This is like a ritual we always have in the evening 😃.
I need to take up new hobbies, but I don't know which one(s) I should go with. Any suggestions? |
One thing I have noticed during this lockdown is that I don't have enough hobbies! I am usually on my smart phone or laptop in my free times, watching videos and Twittering. I sometimes read books, but still it feels like I am wasting most of my time! I need to take up some new hobbies, but I don't know what to do. Do you have any suggestions for me?
So, this is my lockdown routine. It is boring from time to time, but also there are things I enjoy doing. What about you? What's your favourite things to do during this lockdown? Have you taken up any new hobbies recently? Tell me about them in the comment section please.
Thanks for reading. Goodbye!
